Dear residents and community members:
We are looking forward to the public hearing tonight at 7 pm as a follow-up to the public hearing held on December 21st when we heard your comments on proposed zoning amendments. Your comments were helpful to us in recognizing that some clarification was warranted so we did the following:
1- clarified some of the powers and tools available to detect potential issues when a new project is proposed;
2- began discussions with Dutchess County DPW and NY State DOT regarding traffic on Rt. 55; and
3- compiled an overview statement in the form of our Town Board Resolution of Adoption that encapsulates the objectives, goals and decisions made with regard to the new Zoning Amendments.
