If adopted, Bylaw No. 580.134, 2022 would change the zoning for the subject properties from Industrial 1 (I1) to Comprehensive Development Zone 19 (CD19) to permit a mixed-use development with ground floor commercial and residential dwelling units above. The residential units will be a mix of condominiums and apartments. There are two options being considered:
- Option 1: Six storey apartment building and six storey condominium (five storeys on top of the parkade).
- Option 2: Six storey apartment building and seven storey condominium (five and six storeys on top of the parkade).
The subject property is located in the area designated as East Village.
