Public Information Meeting on Speed Camera Project, July 30

The Town of West Hartford will hold the first of two public information meetings on its new Speed Camera project. Our consultant, VHB & VN Engineers, will provide an overview of how they will create an Automated Traffic Enforcement Safety Device (ATESD) Plan, solicit feedback, and answer questions. The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, in the Town Hall Auditorium, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. To learn more about this project, visit https://www.westhartfordct.gov/town-departments/engineering/visionzero/speed-management-cameras.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, please email your questions and comments to VisionZero@WestHartfordCT.gov. West Hartford Community Interactive will air the meeting on their YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@whci.

A second public information meeting is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, to share a draft of the plan and recommendations for the speed camera locations. The meeting will be held in the Sedgwick Middle School Auditorium from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. VHB will solicit feedback and answer questions.
