Truck routes have wide lanes and wide intersections. Safe access for both trucks and people biking and walking is important. Yet designing a wider road for trucks doesn't make sense near a school. In some areas, we need to prioritize people-centered-infrastructure, over truck-oriented wide lanes and intersections.
