T he Florida Chamber’s Distinguished Advocate award recognizes lawmakers who fought tirelessly for the passage of pro-business legislation -- no matter how difficult -- and furthered the Florida Chamber’s goals of securing Florida’s future through job creation and economic development.

These 24 ideas could be on Florida’s ballot in November
The most powerful committee of the Constitution Revision Commission is meeting this week to decide how to present the 24 ideas that have emerged as their top priorities to voters in November.

The 2017 Economic Census is Coming!
The U.S. Census Bureau measures the nation's population once every 10 years. It also measures U.S. businesses every 5 years with the Economic Census. Companies who receive the 2017 Economic Census are required by law to respond. The due date is June 12, 2018.

Visit the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections website for information on candidates, voting locations, and volunteering to be an election poll worker!

Politics in Pinellas is a Chamber-hosted event, where we invite all candidates for the November Election to Pinellas County to meet the public. This year's event will take place at the St. Petersburg College Epicenter facility on 58th Street North in Clearwater, on Thursday, August 2nd. More information to come - Stay Tuned!!
Sugar Sand Festival 2018
The 2018 Sugar Sand Festival is looking for Volunteers from our Chamber member businesses.

A persistent voice at City Hall, Bill Jonson ends fourth term on the Clearwater council
Over four total terms in office, Jonson, 73, has earned a reputation for being unwaveringly devoted to residents and neighborhoods, and attentive to the smallest details of local government, right down to issues like sidewalks, signage and landscaping. His weekly, annotated list of questions became a City Hall routine that regularly sent staff off to chase details about streetlight fixtures, budget reports and other matters .
