Drive from Randolph to Oak will be fully closed to traffic during overnight hours this week, between the hours of
8:15 p.m. and 5:45 a.m.
, weather permitting, for two nights in the northbound direction and two nights in the southbound direction, for resurfacing the Oak Street S-curve.
November 10th, northbound traffic will be detoured off
Lake

Southbound Lake Shore Drive will remain open.
November 11th and 12th, southbound Lake Shore Drive traffic will be detoured off at Michigan Avenue. The detour route is south on Michigan to Randolph and east on Randolph back to

Inner Lake Shore Drive Resurfacing
On Friday, October 30th the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) began to resurface Inner Lake Shore Drive, between Division and North Avenues.
The work consists of milling and asphalt resurfacing of the street pavement, and will also result in the replacement of non-compliant ADA ramps, manhole adjustments and pavement striping.
During this project, expected to last several weeks, temporary lane closures will be placed during non-rush hour periods to allow work to proceed.

A public hearing regarding the proposed

Please attend this hearing to advocate for the re-institution of the #11 bus route within Lincoln Park. As many residents know, the route formerly ran down Lincoln Avenue and connected residents to the many businesses within the 43rd Ward.

Ticket Amnesty Program
The City of Chicago will be offering a Debt Relief Program to individuals and businesses that owe eligible debt to the City from
November 15 -December 31, 2015.
Eligible debt includes unpaid parking and red light camera violations, fines imposed by the Department of Administrative Hearings (e.g. building code violations, drinking on the public way), and taxes (both non-filers and tax assessments) incurred prior to January 1, 2012. Please note that violations or tax obligations that are in a payment plan or pending legal activity with the City are not eligible.

Please Bag Your Leaves!
Between now and November 27th, residents can have their bagged leaf waste collected by the Department of Streets and Sanitation on their normal day of City waste service.
Please remember to ensure that no leaves be swept or blown into the street, as this clogs catch basins and sewers - and it's against the law, to boot!
Instead, please
place any bagged leaves (and other yard waste) next to your refuse and recycling carts
in either the alley or the curb, and Streets and Sanitation crews will collect them to be composted for you.
As a reminder, yard waste should not be thrown into the blue recycling cart as it contaminates the recycling stream.
