Dear Neighbors,
To the delight of children and parents, CPS broke ground last week to build the LaSalle Academy Turf Field and playground. The new outdoor areas will cost $1.5 million. The playground is expected to be complete by the beginning of the school year.
Thank you to the LaSalle parents, local school council, and their terrific staff for the effort it took to create this exciting new amenity for the school and community. Click

LPCC & Clark Street SSA
Wayfinding Signage Installed
Millions of tourists visit our lakefront attractions every year - the Lincoln Park Zoo, the beach, and the Notebaert Museum. But not enough venture to Clark Street to enjoy the shopping and dining available. The Lincoln Park Chamber Park Chamber and Clark Street Special Service Area (SSA) #23 debuted new wayfinding signage from Diversey to Armitage along Clark Street and gateway entries to the neighborhood east of Clark Street.
The new signage design welcomes visitors to Lincoln Park, encourages shopping and dining along Clark Street and promotes Lincoln Park’s many cultural destinations throughout the neighborhood. Thanks to the LPCC and the Clark Street SSA for working for several years to design and implement this important project to bring more customers to Clark Street.
