Publishing This Week

Hello,

This week is a quieter one, with only 13 books publishing - since Erik Larson's The Demon of Unrest doesn't need any extra help, we thought we'd highlight two books that might surprise you.

The first book's author is one of the bestselling writers of all time, capturing the hearts of readers with her compelling storytelling and relatable characters.  Danielle Steel's  latest novel Only the Brave  is historical fiction set during World War II and portrays a nurse resisting Hitler’s regime.

On the other side of the coin, we have a debut. The Funeral Cryer by Wenyan Lu brings us a witty and profound story about one women's midlife reawakening in contemporary rural china.  "The title character’s wry, sad, and insightful inner voice is the star here. Her meditations on grief, death, love, and duty are full of poetry and longing." (Library Journal)

You'll find brief information on 10 titles below, and descriptions and reviews for all of them in our New This Week section. For more soon to publish books, check out BookBrowse's "What's New" section.

Enjoy!
