Publishing This Week
Hello,

September marks the start of the publishing industry’s fall season, and with most publishers front-weighting their catalogs, we readers are going to be spoiled for choice over the coming weeks. Just as a taster, this week’s 25 notable books include new works from Kristina McMorris, Maggie O'Farrell, Christopher Buckley, Ann Cleeves, Lucy Worsley; plus nine debuts including The Family Izquierdo by Rubén Degollado which BookBrowse members reviewed favorably for our First Impressions Program.

We’re going to be reviewing a number of these over the coming weeks but, as usual, we’ve already gathered together all the prepub reviews on BookBrowse for you to look through. You’ll find 10 books listed below and all of them in our New This Week section.

We’ll be discussing The Ways We Hide by Kristina McMorris in our book club forum starting Sept 6. This is her first novel since her 2018 bestseller Sold On a Monday; you are most welcome to join us to discuss this or any of our fall season book club books.

Enjoy!
