Publishing This Week
Hello,

This week we cover 21 new and notable books, all publishing this Tuesday. They include two titles our members have been reviewing for our early reader program First Impressions: Ashley Hutson's debut novel One's Company, recommended for readers of Ottessa Moshfegh and Mona Awad; and Jackie & Me by Louis Bayard in which he imagines the young Jacqueline Bouvier before she became that Jackie.

We also look at Horse by Geraldine Brooks, a dual timeline story about arguably the greatest racehorse in American history, set against the backdrop of Kentucky and the Civil War. Plus, a range of nonfiction including One Person, One Vote: A Surprising History of Gerrymandering in America by Nick Seabrook, Bitch: On the Female of the Species by Lucy Cooke, and memoirs from Ada Calhoun and Katy Tur.

There's more of note including new books from Ibram X. Kendi, Alan Drew and filmmaker Werner Herzog; but as some email providers cut long emails short, I've included just 10 titles here and you'll find all 21 on BookBrowse, including jacket summaries and all available reviews at the time of writing.

Enjoy!
