We are excited to share the Puerto Rico Insurance Commissioner’s Office has approved our licensing request. As of February 1, 2022, VUMI® may begin issuing policies under the name of VUMI® Group, I.I. in Puerto Rico.
Should you wish to issue business under this new entity, you are required to sign an Agent Agreement and submit a W-8 or W-9.
To streamline the process, we will soon be sending a communication with easy-to-follow instructions on how to electronically sign your agreement with the new entity. Please wait for this communication before you begin signing the Agent Agreement or any other document.
Next week, you’ll see a banner about VUMI® Group, I.I. (Puerto Rico) on the homepage of the Agent Portal. Click on this, and you’ll be redirected to a landing page with complete information about the new entity and associated links.
