PROGRAM :
" Andersen Construction and McMenamins: Historic Renovation Paired with Historic Celebration"
Andersen project engineer Matt Paonessa and McMenamins historian Kerry Conroy will present on how their companies address and celebrate history during a large renovation project, such as the Anderson School in Bothell, WA, (opened in 2015) and the current Elks Temple in Tacoma, WA, scheduled to open in Spring 2019.
SPEAKER: Kerry Conroy
Kerry Conroy has been with McMenamins Hotels, Pubs & Breweries for 13 years -- the first eight as the writer for the marketing department and the next five (and counting...) as the assistant historian. After receiving her B.A. in writing and history in 1995 from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY, she moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she earned her master’s degree in Irish Literature from Trinity College in 1997. Kerry relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 1998 and believes it is the luck of the Irish that she landed a career with McMenamins.
SPEAKER: Matt Paonessa
Matt Paonessa has been with Andersen Construction nearly 4 years. Learn more about Matt and the Andersen Special Projects Division at the event.
