Who knows what is right and wrong about Covid-19.  However, one measure seems to have been verified and limited enough it can be stated with certainty.  Covid-19 life on cellulose products is half the life it is on plastics (four hours versus eight hours).  

If you think about it, cellulose materials for food preparation and as containers is on something of an optimistic run against its old nemesis, plastics.  After fifty years of plastics looking cool, chic, and up-to-date, cellulose is becoming the favored material for many reasons.  Recyclability and compostability have been big reasons.  Now Covid-19 adds another.

Something to think about as you examine packaging companies--what are their materials mix in their product line/
