Reminder: a few days left to take the survey!
|
Do you walk, bike, or drive in Cedar Park? Of course you do! Who needs to hear from you? We do!
The City of Cedar Park is seeking input from all residents to help guide recommendations for the Mobility Master Plan (MMP). If you haven't already, please share your input by participating in our resident survey. Your input will help guide the plan development. This comprehensive, long-range plan will help create a safer, more accessible and more efficient transportation network that improves your quality of life.
So run, don't walk (pun intended!) to take the survey now. It only takes a few minutes!!

November & December holiday trash and recycling reminders
|
Just an early heads-up that trash and recycling slide one day for Thanksgiving and the day after. Here's how it works:
-
Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday: If these are your regular scheduled pickup days, you stay on schedule
-
If Thursday's your regular day, pickup slides to Friday, November 25
-
If Friday's your regular day, pickup slides to Saturday, November 26
***
Looking ahead to December, because Christmas and New Year's Day both fall on weekends this year, trash and recyling will not slide in December.
***
There's an extra week of recycling the week of December 26-30. Here's how it works:
-
If December 26-30 is not your regular recycling week: set out your recycling on your normal trash pickup day and resume your regular recycling schedule the following week
-
If December 26-30 is your regular recycling week: set out your recyling per your usual schedule - and remember there's no limit to the amount of recycling you set out
The goal is to help clear homes extra packaging that accumulates at many homes between holidays. We remind you that many wrapping papers, bags and ribbon, along with styrofoam, are not recyclable through the City's single-stream curbside recycling collection. This extra week of recycling alternates customers each year.
