Cooler mornings, children waiting for school buses, pumpkin spice and the leaves changing color - you know it must be fall. That means Jersey Cares is ramping up for another busy season of corporate projects and school workshops.

Enjoy the beach this summer? Volunteer for our  Beach Sweep in Long Beach Island. How about helping maintain the first public park in the United States for Earth Keepers in Newark? Be sure to fall into one of our many volunteer opportunities!

Halloween Costume Drive
Collect Halloween costumes to help ensure that all kids can join in on the fun!
For many families and shelters, Halloween Costumes do not make the list of essentials in the budget. Jersey Cares is collecting new and gently used Halloween costumes so no one feels left out on this holiday filled with childhood fun.
You can organize your own Halloween Costume Drive by Registering Here. We are accepting donations at our office in Livingston until October 20th.

ServiceWorks taps the benefits of volunteerism to help underserved youth prepare for college and careers. Volunteers without a high school diploma have a
51% higher likelihood of finding employment than non-volunteers without diplomas. Currently, our ServiceWorks Service Scholars are volunteering at Goodwill Rescue Mission, Branch Brook Park, SWAG Project and St. James Social Service Corporation. We are becoming stronger through service. Join us to help our scholars rise to their potential.

Julia Stadlinger

When Julia Stadlinger walked into a local coffee shop she never expected to have a run in with Jersey Cares. She stumbled upon a Jersey Cares flyer while getting her coffee, instantly Googled Jersey Cares, and began signing up for projects near her home. She soon knew she wanted to do more and joined Jersey Cares' 2016 Summer Seasons of Service. READ MORE

Novo Nordisk volunteers got down and dirty in September to help maintain Cadwalader Park in Trenton. 130 employees from the Plainsboro Township office braved the heat to rake leaves, cut branches, assemble picnic tables, paint benches and create super hero caps for sick children. Though the heat was intense, volunteers toughed it out, took only minimal breaks, and got the job done with no problems.  The recreation department for the park couldn't believe how much work they completed in only a few hours. Thank you, Novo Nordisk for helping out and making a difference!

Don't miss your opportunity to get involved in these great team- building events for a cause! Next up, the Jersey Cares Coat Drive. And before you know it, Frosty's Friends season will be here.
