Don't be Pie-less this year!
Hungry to make a difference? Support Community Servings' 33rd annual Pie In The Sky bake sale. Together, we can ensure those unable to shop or cook for themselves and their loved ones get the nourishment and support they need now and in the coming year.
Each year, Basil Tree bakes hundreds of from-scratch pies for Community Servings annual Pie in the Sky Fundraiser. This is by far the biggest donation of hand-rolled pies that Pie in the Sky gets each year and we're so grateful to all of our friends and volunteers who chip in to make this possible.
Pie in the Sky funds Community Servings’ philanthropic meal program, prepares and delivers scratch-made medically tailored meals to individuals and families across the state impacted by a range of critical and chronic illnesses, including cancer, heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, HIV/AIDS, and more. Right now, Community Servings is on track to prepare and deliver 1 million meals this year to those in our community who are too sick to shop and cook for themselves and their loved ones.
Simply visit PieInTheSky.org to make a $35 donation and in return you will receive your choice of an apple, pecan, or pumpkin pie- all baked locally by various bakeries and restaurants. Basil Tree is both baking and selling pies, so choose Basil Tree on the "Sellers" page during check out, if you please. There is no guarantee that the pie you purchase comes from Basil Tree, but you are guaranteed to help a neighbor in need!
Don't need a pie? No problem! You can still help by gifting a pie to someone else, or you can purchase a Pie for a Community Servings Client. Both options still feed one of Community Servings clients for a week.
