The 8th Annual Movie Series, sponsored by Sundquist Family of Homes, Snohomish County Parks, with partners Mill Creek Lions Club, Sno-Isle Library and BridgeCity Church hosted more than 11,000 attendees, even with one of the movies being rained out.

   One of the most fun events of the year! 
   Gold pan for colorful gems that you can take home with you. 
   Warm apple cider with a snack for a quick break. 
   Corn maze; take a hayride out to the pumpkin patch; pick out one pumpkin of any
   size (you have to be able to carry it yourself) to take home with you.

San Juan Island Killer Whales, Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, 11 a.m.

After attending this show, when you see a Killer Whale in the wild, you will be able to recognize if it's swimming to get to another location, hunting for salmon, just playing or sleeping. It turns out that their brains are so large that they put half their brain to sleep when they are tired and keep moving with the other half of their brain awake in slumber mode!

Renowned ornithologist and urban ecologist John Marzluff reveals how our own actions affect the birds and animals that live in our cities and towns provides ten specific strategies everyone can use to make human environments friendlier for our natural neighbors.

Creature of the Black Lagoon

Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, 7 p.m.

Free presentation on an underwater predator, the dragonfly, followed by a showing of the 1954 black and white film "Creature of the Black Lagoon."

The Bat Lady Wings to the Northwest Stream Center
Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 7:00 p.m.
Attention all ghosts and goblins!!! The Bat Lady's presentation includes live bats, incredible photos of bats from around the world and some very cool bat puppets.  Did you know that in North America bats control insects...a single Mouse Eared bat can eat up to 600 mosquitoes in an hour?
