We are very proud of the Australian team including Professor Morris and Sarah Valle for publishing early results of the BromAc trial in the European Journal of Surgical Oncology. Per the article, an objective response was seen in 73.2% of treated sites.

 ACPMP is proud to be a supporter of this research through our research grant program ( acpmp.org/research ).

Recap of Crawl for a Cause

On October 5th, Crawl for a Cause hosted a pub crawl and chose ACPMP as the beneficiary of funds!

THANK YOU   Crawl for a Cause   for raising $7,500 towards Appendix Cancer/PMP research and education! A huge thank you to the 130 bar crawlers, participating bars, and also those who supported ACPMP through donations. We were so excited to see the Appendix Cancer survivors in attendance as well.

ACPMP's Fall Symposiums
ACPMP recently just wrapped up our three fall symposiums that took place at facilities across the US.

They went incredibly well and we were so excited to meet so many of you in person, further spread the mission of ACPMP, and inform attendees of our programs.

ACPMP sponsors patient-practitioner symposia and provides information, materials, and programs to professionals, patients and others.

25 Hours in Frog Hollow!

On November 2nd and 3rd, Bob Franek and his family (Team AC/PMP) raced in 25 Hours in Frog Hollow mountain bike race on behalf of the ACPMP Research Foundation.

Team ACPMP raised over $1,000 , put up 22 laps total, rode over 296 miles in 25 hours, climbed over 58,000 feet, all the while raising an insurmountable amount of awareness for Appendix Cancer and PMP.

Rare Cancer Day!

October 1st was the first ever #RareCancerDay! A day aimed to raise critical awareness of rare cancers and the need for greater research funding and patient support.

Spearheaded by the NORD Rare Cancer Coalition, which is comprised of 24 rare cancer-specific member organizations, including ACPMP.

Rare Cancer Day highlighted the challenges people living with rare cancers face and to unify individuals living with rare cancers for awareness and early diagnosis. Mark your calendars for next year's Rare Cancer Day on October 1st!

Giving Tuesday: December 3, 2019!

Save the date! December 3rd is Giving Tuesday and ACPMP will be sharing videos from all of our Board of Directors and staff in the week leading up to it! Their stories will tug at your heartstrings when you learn how they all have been individually impacted by Appendix Cancer/PMP.

Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving. People all over the world will be giving to the charities closest to their hearts. We hope you'll choose ACPMP on this important day. Last year you helped us raise nearly $10,000! We thank you, as always, for being a part of our community!

 Merrimack College VS. Boston University Hockey Appendix Cancer Aw areness Night!

Come out to the Lawler Arena in North Andover, Massachusetts to cheer on either the   Merrimack College or Boston University men's ice hockey teams. We look forward to having you join us for an exciting night of hockey and raising awareness for Appendix Cancer & PMP!

ACPMP is selling game tickets for $15! Regular tickets pre-game are $20, day-of are $23! You save $5 while also supporting ACPMP Research Foundation's mission.

ACPMP will also be selling Chuck-A-Pucks with all proceeds benefitting ACPMP, as well as  auctioning off an autographed Merrimack College hockey jersey !
