Not everyone will agree that a pun is the finest of word plays. But the jokesters at CG&A COMM have always treasured punny material. Two years ago we featured punny stuff in two of our newsletters. Given the current angst we are all attempting to cope with, we are redistributing these newsletters and presenting a challenge to our readership to share the most outrageous and humourous puns.

Let's make this week a punny one! It's a glorious diversion and I hope everyone will take it up. I ask you submit your puns to us via Facebook and/or Twitter and/or email: cgacomm@gmail.com.

We will circulate our second newsletter prompt tomorrow. On Friday, we will issue a newsletter with the top dozen puns, accrediting the punsters.

Enjoy the week,
Chris

Sadly, no matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.

By George presents six of the punniest memes we have seen in a while....

A fellow once sat up all night wondering where the sunshine comes from....

Finally, it dawned on him.
So there was an Inuit out hunting seals in his boat and he found that his feet were beginning to freeze. Carefully shaving off little strips of wood from the frame he was able to get enough fuel to start a small fire by his feet. Unfortunately, the hide covering of the boat caught on fire as well and his entire craft was consumed by flames. This goes to prove that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

A marine biologist developed a race of genetically engineered dolphins that could live forever if they were fed a steady diet of seagulls. One day his supply of birds ran out, so he had to go out and trap some more. On the way back, he spied two lions asleep on the road. Afraid to wake them, he gingerly stepped over them. Immediately, the biologist was arrested and charged with transporting gulls across sedate lions for immortal porpoises.
