Volume 98 | June 4, 2021

Our good friends at The Motor Zone loved our furry friends so much that they decided to help sponsor the adoption fee of our senior cats. Now until the end of June all SENIOR CATS adoption fees are waived. We have so many wonderful cats who would love to finally go home!

Stop in today to see our senior friends.
We saw the support you gave back in April, and now we are back with another 168 Tattoo event!

On Saturday, June 26th at 11 am show your support by getting a tattoo for rescues at 168 Tattoo in Pennsauken. For only $60 you can choose from these amazing designs, and a portion of the sales goes towards helping our furry friends find new homes!

Since we had so many of you lovely people come out last time, they are doing appointment only!

All you need to do is call or text 168 Tattoo at 856.742.9699.

We are at max capacity in our kitten/cat spaces. Every time a shelter animal is able to leave the shelter for a foster home, space is created for another deserving homeless pet who needs a second chance. Please consider fostering one of our cuties today!!

If you’re able to help foster please contact foster@homewardboundnj.org and fill out our foster questionnaire below to get started!
Now until June 6th all our furry friends are 50% OFF!!!

For a limited time, you can come in now through Sunday and get half off all adoption fees. We have all types of friends, ones that go meow, some say bark, and many who just want to give and get love!

Stop in today to meet your newest friend!
Amelia lost her home when her family had to move. That in itself is a confusing time and it doesn't help that Amelia can't see all that well. Despite this, she is a sweetheart and would be great for someone looking for a quiet cat. Amelia loves to hug and give kisses. She is 11 years young and still has so much love to give to the right home.
Since Memorial Day passed, Henry is approaching his 4th season at Homeward Bound (8 MONTHS to be exact). He is hoping summer brings him fun, sun, and his FOREVER HOME! ☀️🏠 Henry is about 3 years old and mostly blind. He doesn’t let that slow him down though, as he is friendly and energetic. He seems to be okay with dogs, but would do best as the only pet in the home. Come in to meet Henry and please SHARE so he can find an adopter, foster, or rescue!

The days are getting warmer and we all know what that means ICE CREAM! 🍦 You know what's better than ice cream, dogs!

We have partnered with A Taste of Philly - Ice Cream Parlor/Coffee Shop who offers both human ice cream and DOG ICE CREAM 😱.

Come June 12th from 12pm - 3pm to meet some of our dogs who will greet you as you enjoy a sweet delicious treat. A percentage of sales will go back to Homeward Bound.

Mark your calendars and bring your furry friend!
We are pleased to announce that the Pet Pantry is back to a weekly schedule!

No animal should go hungry. If you're able to help us continue serving the community in this capacity, consider a donation from our Amazon Wishlist! Donations come directly to the shelter, but please let us know that you donated. Amazon doesn't always let us know where the packages come from, and we want to be sure to thank you for your generosity!

Please come at 11AM on Saturday, wearing a face mask, and further instructions will be given upon arrival. We can't wait to serve you!
