New requirements for short-term rentals in unincorporated Pinellas County
Pinellas County has implemented new requirements for short-term rentals operating in unincorporated Pinellas County. This new ordinance requires short-term rentals to operate responsibly while maintaining the safety and quality of life in our neighborhoods.
Short-term rental owners must apply for and maintain a Certificate of Use, and follow safety, parking, occupancy and noise regulations. Owners can apply and learn more at Pinellas.gov/STR.
Neighbors can report a short-term rental issue by calling the 24/7 STR Hotline at (727) 353-2436 or filing a complaint online.
