  • Food scraps delay! Effective Feb. 1, 2021, after careful consideration of the ongoing effects of COVID-19 on the business community, Metro has delayed implementation of the Business Food Waste Requirement by an additional year, to March 30, 2022. The policy requires a business to implement a food scraps collection program for certain food service businesses throughout the region.
