ACHIEVEMENTS

CHESS

Immaculata punched above their weight in the recent chess tournament at MBSS. Sawyer, our only player this time, went 3 -0 as part of a strong and inclusive MBSS team.

A great time was had by all. With time in-between match play for Mr. Wilson to hang out with his check mates. The next tournament will be coming in the spring. Date to be confirmed.

THE RIPPLE EFFECT

Immaculata's Social Justice team The Ripple Effect (2022) has received an update about the work they did for their Sustainable Development project. The team managed to raise over $5000 through their efforts at their Sustainable Development Challenge and other various fundraisers. These funds have been used to purchase a well for the women of the Girls College, Minna, Nigeria.

Congratulations, Team. And thank you to their partner organization, Life Water Canada.

FROM INTERIOR HEALTH

BC Children's Hospital’s new centre for knowledge is inviting any child or youth 18 years of age or younger and/or their parents or family caregivers to complete this 5 to 10 minute survey. We would like to better support your family by making health information that is easy to find and understand. The purpose of this survey is to collect information to plan a new program for creating and sharing health information that partners with children, youth and family caregivers from the beginning stages.

You may also choose to enter a draw for a $100 Indigo gift card.
