This weekend, The Eastside Players will perform a stage adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle’s science fantasy novel, A Wrinkle in Time. A Wrinkle in Time tells the story of the young Meg Murry, who joins forces with Mrs. Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O'Keefe, and many more to battle evil forces and rescue her father, saving humanity and finding herself along the way. It’s an ambitious selection for a theatre group that prides itself on taking on unconventional productions and overcoming technical challenges, and this year provided more of the latter than most. Area middle school students got a sneak peek at the show this week. Pictures from that preview performance are below. Tickets are available online for both performances: Friday, February 3rd at 7pm and Saturday, February 4th at 3pm.
