Outstanding Seniors in Mathematics Awards

Congratulations to Nelson Dresser, Eliya Syvertsen, and Zoey Yandell, recipients of the Outstanding Senior in Mathematics Award. The recipients are chosen for their work in class, involvement in extracurricular activities related to mathematics, their future plans to enter a STEM related field, and their love of the field. Each will receive a mathematics book chosen with their particular interest in mind.

East Senior Receives National Merit Scholarship

Congratulations to East Senior, Zoey E. Yandell for being awarded a National Merit Scholarship! The winners were judged to have the strongest combination of accomplishments, skills, and potential for success in rigorous college studies. Additionally, Zoey has earned a cumulative 4.0 GPA!

Celebrating Hmong American Day With Student Work

We have been celebrating Hmong American Day (May 14th) with read aloud videos all week that highlight Hmong language, literacy, culture, and history. COVID-19 Resources and Information about Testing

Our School Nurse, Bonnie Ohm, has put together resources and information about COVID-19 Testing. Remember, to prevent the spread of germs, wash your hands thoroughly and frequently for 20 seconds, stay 6 feet away from others outside your household, cough/sneeze into your elbow, use a mask if you must go out, and keep your hands away from your nose, mouth or eyes. Stay healthy Purgolders!
