bas Adel and Rabbi Yechiel Michl Ashkenazi of Tulchin.

19 Adar Aleph 5561/1801.

As granddaughter of the Baal Shem Tov HaKodesh, Rebbetzin Feiga and her husband, Rabbi Simcha Horedenker, inherited the Baal Shem Tov's house in Medzhybizh where Rabbi Nachman was born.

There they welcomed a constant stream of chassidic masters and simple Jews who traveled long distances to pray at the Baal Shem Tov's grave nearby. Rebbe Nachman told his students that, as a child, the hospitality of his parents and the stories about tzaddikim told by their worthy guests inspired him deeply.
