While everyone loves to eat, drink, dress up, and be merry on Purim, the four mitzvot , or commandments, of Purim, are all about taking care of each other .

If you've never made mishloach manot (Purim gift baskets) or if you're looking to change up your gift-giving routine, you can get creative with these seven fun gifts in a jar that you can make with your kids.

Purim is a fun holiday to enjoy at any age, from baking to dressing up in costumes to making tons of noise! Here is what you need to know to get started.

COMING UP IN APRIL:

The celebration of Passover includes stories, questions, explanations, special foods, and even a game of hide-and-seek. The seder, or ritual meal, is a fun experience for the whole family.

Here is a fun and easy way to make asking questions even easier during Passover or any time of the year – create your own question catcher!
There are four great selections available for PJ Our Way this month: a time traveling adventure to ancient Egypt, a modern choose your own adventure style book about a girl celebrating her bat mitzvah, a newberry medal-winning novel about the adventures of an Academic Bowl team, and the second book in the beloved All-of-a-Kind Family series. Don't miss out on these great books - make your pick by March 10th!

Wishtree arrived in mailboxes in February. Whether you selected this book or not, there are important lessons we can learn from this incredible story of the power of kindness and what happens when a community comes together in response to hatred and xenophobia.
Naples Senior Center at JFCS partners with PJ Library in Collier County to bring you free Jewish books each month. In addition, we offer mental health counseling for children and families. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. No one is denied services due to an inability to pay. For more information call 239-325-4444 or email info@naplesseniorcenter.org .
