Campus Spotlight

2023 Ring Banquet & Senior Day

Ring Banquet at Salem Academy is a cherished tradition where seniors receive their class rings. Organized by the Academy freshmen class, they select a theme and decorate Bryant Hall. Ring Banquet is among the first events in the school year to honor the senior class. It also provides the freshmen with an opportunity to collaborate and develop teamwork skills.

The following day after Ring Banquet is Senior Day. It begins with an exciting car decorating contest organized by the underclassmen. During the primary part of the day, our senior students take the reins and lead engaging elective classes for everyone to enjoy.

Dates:

Ring Banquet, September 19, 2023 from 5 - 6:30 p.m.
Senior Day, September 20, 2023. School dismissal by 3 p.m.

Innovation & Cinema Film Series: Space Jam: A New Legacy with drink and food vendors at Bailey Park, 7:00 pm (Film starts at 8:30 pm; bring your own chair or blanket.)

Art Crush: Presented by the Arts District of Winston-Salem with local artists, musicians, and crushable art experiences at Trade Street, 7 p.m.

The Addams Family at Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance, 7:30 p.m. ($19 for students/seniors and $21 for adults)

Taylor Swift Laser Dance Party, The Ramkat at 8 p.m.- Get ready Taylor Nation! The Ramkat is hosting a Taylor Swift laser dance party! Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

October 22

Swim Like A. Fish Day Clinics. Salem Academy Swim Clinic with 2x USA Junior National Champion Abbie Fish is on October 22 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Cost is $100.00 per swimmer.
