I AWOKE (PRAISE THEM LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!!!) to better news at the crack of 11:00 AM with a welcoming call from Mrs. Jill Cohran- she is doing good at Panama City Hospital after undergoing one successful heart stint and expecting one more tomorrow!!!
URGENT PRAYER REQUEST:
Mrs. Jill Cochran, a precious saint of God and a beloved friend and counselor is in Panama City Hospital. She has undergone one heart stint and may require further surgery Monday-

I had began my sermon in the wee hours of last night BUT ANOTHER power outage thwarted my effort, so here is the conclusion of my message.
It is 1:19 AM here in Georgia as I toil through the night. It is MY pleasure and distinct HONOR to man the “night shift” of PRAYER and study of the Word of God.
Even as I type tonight through blurred eyes I am THANKFUL to be alive and able to serve our Lord and Savior whenever and however.
PLEASE read again the Holy Scriptures above and especially take note of:

Jesus said:
John 15:16 (KJV)
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
The QUESTION is WHY did our God choose me and you??????????????????
That question is aptly answered in:

11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
ALL THINGS WERE CREATED “for THY pleasure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
WE are and were created solely for THY/God's pleasure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AGAIN, may I remind you and me that God created us as human BEINGS-not human DOINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
GOD LOVES US AND LOVED US JUST AS WE ARE, AND/OR, WERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE do not have to DO anything as there is NOTHING we can do/need do/must do to “earn” His love and acceptance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To use a very primitive and crude analogy God's love is like our love for our pets.
Our pets-our dogs and cats, etc. are created for OUR pleasure and they solely depend on US for their care and substantive!
God created US for His pleasure and He delights when we trust and obey and DEPEND on Him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF and WHEN God “uses us” He is simply allowing us to be a part of His plan.
DOING the “will of God” brings US pleasure!!!!

In short and on a personal note, there is NOTHING that compares to “DOING the Will of God!”
How well do I remember that great man of God, Brother Harry Mushegan.
One Wednesday night-after he just completed another masterful sermon-I met him in his office. He was still “high” under the anointing of God.
I remarked how wonderful the service had been and his reply still rings in my head and heart.
He stated that “this is the only time in life that he was truly happy!! WHEN HE WAS UNDER THE ANOINTING OF GOD!!!”
Don't misunderstand what I or he is and was saying!!!
Bishop Mushegan was a wonderful man and friend and Pastor and husband and father. Etc.
He was very simply:

“PUT YOUR HAND IN THE HAND OF THE MAN WHO STILLED THE WATERS

TAKE A LOOK AT YOURSELF AND YOU WILL LOOK AT OTHERS DIFFERENTLY!!
BY PUTTING YOUR HAND IN THE HAND OF THE MAN FROM GALILEE.”
