Enjoy NaturePlay@BCM as the Weather Warms
BCM's outdoor playspace is open year-round, but with spring's sunshine and longer days comes the best opportunity to enjoy it! Featuring kid-sized cabin replicas, stone benches, a unique swing and more to explore, NaturePlay is a great place to visit before or after your museum visit. Admission to the museum is not required for NaturePlay- it is free of charge and open every day during park hours.

Kentuckian Harlan Hubbard was so dedicated to his art, he continued creating it aboard his hand-made shanty boat as it drifted down the Ohio River. Learn about this Americana artist and his wife, plus make a small painting of your own to take home. Designed for students in grades two through five. Cost is $8 for students and $5 for adults. Price includes museum admission. BCM members only pay $3 craft fee. Free parking. Preregistration required, call 859-491-4003 with a credit card number to reserve your spot.

Explore the life cycle of plants from seed to bloom through a flower-themed craft. Chippie, BCM’s chipmunk mascot, introduces science to children aged 3 to 5 in this fun and educational monthly series, which incorporates S.T.E.A.M. elements and age-appropriate experiments! NKU SOTA Dance Troupe Performance and Movement Workshop
Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1 – 3 PM
1 p.m. - Dance Troupe Performance

2-3 p.m. - Movement Workshop
Come and learn a fun dance taught by NKU School of the Arts Dance Troupe company members. Open to children 18 and under; those under three must be accompanied by an adult. Children will be placed in dance groups according to age and should wear clothing in which they can easily move. Workshop spots limited – reserve now at (859)491-4003.
Celebrate Save the Elephants Day at BCM!
Listen to a story and create a craft themed after Earth’s largest land mammal. Tot Tuesdays! designed to help prepare preschoolers for reading readiness and socialization, are held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday of every month. Admission is free for BCM members. For future members, cost is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors 60+ and $5 for children. There is a $1 craft fee per child. Free parking. Reserve spots for you and your child at (859) 491-400.
Baseball Trivia at BCM
Saturday, April 27
1-2 p.m.
Test your knowledge of local and Major League baseball! In conjunction with the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame, BCM is delighted to offer this family-focused event. Questions will vary in difficulty so all family members can participate!
BCM member's cost is $5 per person. For future members, cost is $14 for adults, $13 for seniors 60+ and $10 for children which includes museum admission. Free parking. Reserve spots at (859) 491-4003.
