Putting great ideas into action for #FabChangeWeek

IMS MAXIMS is delighted to once again partner with The Academy of
Fabulous Stuff, to deliver #FabChangeWeek.

Stepping up from last year's 24-hour Change Day marathon, the week long campaign has seen the team, including Roy Lilley, Dr Terri Porrett and IMS MAXIMS CEO Shane Tickell, travel the UK, visiting NHS and health and social care organisations to collect pledges for change.

The aim of the initiative is to drive and inspire positive change across the industry for the benefit of staff and patients. The week's activities will set in motion a year of putting great ideas in to action.

Mapping out the future of digital at IMS MAXIMS User Group

Customers from both the UK and Ireland gathered at IMS MAXIMS offices in Dublin last week for another successful User Group meeting. Over the two days IMS MAXIMS shared plans for delivering the future of digital healthcare, including the emergency care system roadmap, and product enhancements.
The challenges posed by General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and presentations on customer shared experiences also featured high on the agenda.

The event also included a focused session for customers with unscheduled care services, and looked closely at strategic development and roadmap plans for next year.

Thank you to all our customers who attended and contributed towards an insightful and fascinating two days. We look forward to hosting the next User Group event in 2018.

Policy and Communications Director, Natalie Chishick, discusses the benefits of investing in a
diverse talent pipeline to achieve innovative personalised medicine.

Those who work in healthtech will no doubt have attended a conference recently. While at an event in Olympia (London), I found myself comparing the agenda to London Tech Week (LTW). If you haven't been, it's a week of events dedicated to bringing together creativity, talent and innovation. The number of women involved wasn't the first thing that came to mind when considering the agenda, but given the breadth of topics and calibre of speakers, it's hard not to comment...
