Earlier this month, NTM’s President Barb Dorumsgaard volunteered as a professional reviewer at Anoka-Hennepin School District’s STEAM Showcase & Professional Review Night.
Students presented innovative projects like:
- A multimedia website empowering and educating women on basic car maintenance, and the car buying process.
- Brain-teasing games and puzzles family members can play with their loved ones struggling with dementia to slow down the process.
- Researching “smart glass”; prescription glasses adjusting automatically to individual vision needs.
This was just the beginning—final projects will be showcased on May 9, 2024. A big thank you to the students, staff, and volunteers for making this event inspiring and delicious (special shoutout to the Culinary students for the amazing appetizers!).
