First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our valued customers for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We may have been closed during this pandemic crisis but we are working hard to put into place the necessary infrastructure for our reopening, which we will announce in follow up statements over the coming weeks.
Over the last 10 weeks, we have been working behind the scenes to apply further health and safety measures for the new ways that we will need to start working to ensure the safety of all our visitors, members and staff, once we are able to reopen.
One of the main changes will be that we intend to re-launch our online pre-booked ticket system only, with a strict number of tickets available each day to help us control the level of crowding within the Park. These tickets will be available in time slots on specific days, 7 days a week on our website.
This booking system will now be in place for all of our members as well, with an equal apportion of daily tickets available for active members. We will not be able to accept any customers into the Park without proof of the pre-booking confirmation. We will provide more detail on this as we approach our opening date.
Once we reopen, you will notice some changes around the Park. Whilst we are unable to open the soft play area and Meadows Restaurant for the time being, we have been making significant changes to our outdoor space, to include one-way systems for some of our key attractions to ensure we follow the social distancing rules. We have also installed extra ‘Hand Sanitising Zones’, which is in addition to the hand washing facilities that we have throughout the Park. These will be readily available and spread equally throughout the Park. We will also increase the regular hygiene checks and cleaning practices during our opening hours as well as completing a deep clean processes after closing on a daily basis.
We hope you have all enjoyed our animal carers showing you what all our animals have been up to whilst you have been away and we have really appreciated your kind comments and we are all looking forward to welcoming you back.
