Dear Pleasantville Families,

Tomorrow, Friday, May 30, promises to be a lively evening in Pleasantville!

At 5:00 PM, we’ll be cheering on our varsity girls’ lacrosse team as they compete in the Sectional Semifinals on the high school’s main field—go Panthers!

Later that evening, the annual Firefighters’ Parade will kick off at 7:00 PM, beginning at the Pleasantville Library and following its usual route. For route details, please click here.

Please note that, due to the lacrosse game, fire trucks will not be lined up in the Middle/High School parking lot as they have been in the past. We are grateful to the Pleasantville Fire Department for their flexibility in adjusting the parade setup to accommodate this important school event.

We anticipate that the parking lot will be crowded, as fans come out to support their teams. We also encourage game attendees to be mindful of increased traffic as the parade may begin shortly after the game concludes.

Looking ahead, we’re also excited to cheer on our varsity boys’ lacrosse team as they compete in their own Sectional Semifinal game on Saturday, May 31, at 1:00 PM on the high school main field—let’s show them our Panther pride!

And best of luck to the talented cast and crew of The Music Man as they attend the High School Metro Awards on Monday, June 2. The production has been nominated for an impressive 10 awards—congratulations to all involved!

For the youth,

Dr. DeSa
