Enjoy an Autumn stroll along the Corners Connector. The newly opened section of the city's multi-use trail skirts a portion of Technology Lake. This 1/3-mile segment begins on Technology Parkway South and connects with Technology Parkway. Eventually, this section of the trail will encircle the entire lake. When complete, the 11-mile Corners Connector will wind through the city connecting neighborhoods with shopping, restaurants and businesses.

Voting Drop Box Locations
Gwinnett Voter Registrations and Elections will continue offering secure ballot drop boxes to provide eligible voters a way to return absentee/advance by mail ballots for the November 3 General Election and Special Election. No postage is necessary on ballots placed in the drop boxes.
Eight official ballot drop boxes feature 24-hour surveillance and will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week across Gwinnett County through Tuesday, November 3 at 7:00 p.m. Click here for the list of ballot drop off locations
Additionally, Gwinnett's 23 library branches also have drop boxes. Pictured is the drop box located at the Peachtree Corners Library branch at 5570 Spalding Drive.

Early Voting Dates and Locations
If you plan to vote advance in person in the Nov. 3 General and Special Election, you can vote from Oct. 12 to Oct. 30 at the following locations: Click HERE for list of locations.
*Remember, Peachtree Corners voters, you will be casting your ballots for federal, state and county elections and referendums. As there are no city elections this year, City Hall will not be open for voting.

City's Finance Department Receives National Award for Finance Reporting
The city’s Finance Department recently received a certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for its 2019 financial year-end comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR).
The Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement is the highest honor for governmental accounting and financial reporting. It is the city’s second year in receiving the award and represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. Read More

Halloween Safety During
COVID-19 Pandemic
For many, Halloween has become a favorite fall celebration whether escorting children to go house to house or giving out candy to excited trick-or-treaters.
But this year is like none other due to the ongoing pandemic which means many traditional Halloween activities can be high-risk for spreading the coronavirus.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) have posted guidelines for safer, alternative ways to participate in the festivities. The guidelines encourage you to consider some lower risk creative options this year that will still allow for plenty of fun.

Mayor Delivers Annual State-of-City Address via Video
Due to COVID-19, this year Mayor Mike Mason presented his annual address, not in person but via video. The video was shot at various locations throughout the city.
In the 10-minute video he provides updates on current projects, including the pedestrian bridge and the Spalding Drive widening project and much more. Click HERE to watch the video.

Shop the city's online store for T-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. Several T-shirt designs are available.
You can find the details on the city's website - locate the "Residents" tab then in the pull-down menu select "City Online Store" to view items and place your order.

Where to Dispose of Worn, Damaged American Flags
American flags that are worn, faded or damaged can be respectfully disposed of in a drop box located at City Hall.
The flags are periodically collected and retired by a local Boy Scout troop. Please drop off flags Mon-Fri from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Where May Temporary Signs be Placed
All temporary signage is prohibited from being placed in the City of Peachtree Corners right-of-way. Signs within the right-of-way will be collected and disposed of.
Generally, when installing temporary signage, it should be placed at least 10 feet from the back of curb or behind utility poles if the utility poles are greater than 10 feet from the curb. Read More

Keep Autumn Leaves Off Ground, Out of Storm Drains
Raking or blowing leaves and other yard debris into storm drains or curb inlets leads to localized flooding and damage to property and infrastructure.
It can also impair our water resources. Leaves in the stormwater decay, releasing nutrients that encourage algae blooms which depletes oxygen content in water and suffocates aquatic life. Read More

Free Photo & Video Classes for Residents - Suspended
The city's free photo classes provided by Tytan Pictures are suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic and will resume at a later date.
Please watch for a notice announcing when the photo and video classes will resume.

Have you downloaded the new Corners Connect app? Find events, dining and entertainment, bus routes, city information, news, weather and more.
You can also find a parking spot within the Town Center and get assistance navigating to the available parking locations.
Use the app to report a non-emergency police issue, traffic problem, find links, phone numbers to pay your water bill and county property taxes or to register to vote. The Fix-It app is also accessible through the Corners Connect app.
The City's app is free and available for both iPhones (App Store) and Android (Play Store) users. Use "Corners Connect" to search for the app.
