Host a Business After Hours in 2022

The Business After Hours are held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., typically on a Wednesday or Thursday. The event allows the host to showcase its business, services, and building to the business community and it offers chamber members the chance to meet one another and network in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. SEED presents Marketing Trends for Small Business Owners in 2022 TOMORROW at 10:00 a.m.

This free virtual workshop will cover everything small business owners and entrepreneurs need to know about marketing their business in 2022. The instructor, Tricia White of T. White Creations, offers insight gained over 30 years of working with small businesses in many marketing and branding capacities, as well as her experiences as a small business owner herself. Marketing trends, strategies, and much more will be the focus of this session. SBA Physical Disaster Loan Deadline is Approaching in Massachusetts for Private Nonprofits Affected by January Severe Winter Storm and Snowstorm

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is reminding eligible Private Nonprofit (PNP) organizations in Massachusetts of the June 17 deadline to submit disaster loan applications for physical damages caused by the severe winter storm and snowstorm on Jan. 28-29, 2022. Learn more.

The declaration includes the counties of Bristol, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk, including the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe in Massachusetts. Examples of eligible non-critical PNP organizations include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools and colleges.

The SBA also offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) to help meet working capital needs, such as ongoing operating expenses, to PNP organizations. EIDL assistance is available regardless of whether the organization suffered any physical property damage. 

The filing deadline to submit applications for physical property damage is June 17, 2022. The deadline to submit economic injury applications is Jan. 18, 2023.
