On March 10th, Funders for LGBTQ Issues released an open call letter to philanthropy to act to resource our transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) community in this moment of crisis. You can read the complete statement here.

The Funding Forward 2023 call for sessions is now open! The planning committee seeks your ideas to make this fall's most engaging convening.

Would you like the chance to highlight some of your groundbreaking LGBTQ grantees?

Or do you want to help facilitate open space for your peers to have honest dialogue around an important topic affecting LGBTQ communities and philanthropy?
Please note: In light of the cruel and draconian legislative attacks on trans and gender nonconforming (TGNC) communities we have seen in the last year, and continue to see with increased regularity and severity, we are prioritizing conference sessions focused on trans lives this year. While we will consider all submitted session proposals, in this moment of crisis we strongly encourage our network to adopt an intersectional approach for their broader session proposals and consider how they can center TGNC communities.
We encourage you to submit your session ideas! Whether your proposal is complete or still in development, we will work with you to create a robust session. Learn more and submit.

This webinar is geared towards national and state funders and will offer an overview of national and regional efforts to counter these attacks and protect our TGNC community members.

Learn about funding opportunities with several funds at Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice. Applications open for the: U.S. Fund, International Fund, Intersex Human Rights Fund, and Global Arts Fund. Support grants range from $5,000 - $30,000 per year. Applications are accepted through April 15, 2023.

Groundswell's Rapid Response Fund
Groundswell’s Rapid Response Fund (RRF) provides fast funding to grassroots organizations led by women of color, trans people of color, and low-income women and trans people in critical but unexpected fights to protect and advance reproductive and social justice.
Applications are accepted through March 31, 2023.

Transgender Strategy Fund
Transgender Strategy Center seeks to support organizations and informal networks led by and serving transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) people. Grant applications for one year gen ops grants of between $25,000 and $75,000 are accepted through March 31, 2023.

Third Wave Fund's Our Own Power Fund
Third Wave Fund opens its Our Own Power Fund for new capacity building project proposals. U.S.-based (including territories) youth-led reproductive and gender justice organizations with an annual budget of up to $500,000 USD are eligible to apply. Grant applications for two year grants of $25,000 per year are accepted through April 21, 2023.

Global Philanthropy Project is collecting LGBTI grantmaking data on funds awarded in calendar years 2021 and 2022 to offer funders an accurate understanding of the global LGBTI landscape.Data collection is open from March through September 2023.
