Spring Funder Forum
Sponsored by the FCAA Advocacy Network, the Global Philanthropy Project and Funders for LGBTQ Issues, this in-person Spring Funder Forum will offer a two-part discussion to help contextualize current threats to HIV, health, and human rights, with one session focusing on FOSTA-SESTA legislation and the other looking at the rise of religious conservatism. Global Philanthropy Project and Funders for LGBTQ Issues have collaborated to release a Spanish translation of the full 2015-16 Global Resources Report. We will host a Spanish-language launch webinar on April 17, 2019. This webinar is open to grantmakers and civil society representatives.

  • This past week, Vice President of Research & Communications Lyle Matthew Kan presented on “How to Leverage Knowledge, Numbers, and Partnerships to Effect Change” at the United Philanthropy Forum’s PolicyWorks Institute. He also represented the network at Foundations on the Hill, which brings together hundreds of philanthropic leaders from across the country to meet with Congress.

MAP and Bi Resource Center releases report with critical information, resources, & recommendations to raise awareness and support the health and well-being of bisexual people everywhere.

An estimated 4.5% of adults in the United States, approximately 11.3 million people, identify as LGBT, according to a new analysis by the Williams Institute.


The   Next Gen Fellows Program  is a 6-month training fellowship for individuals who are involved in all types of foundations as current or soon-to-be trustees or staff.


The Gay Community Endowment Fund at the Akron Community Foundation has granted $50,050 to 16 organizations.
