CoreNet Global Connecticut Westchester
Chapter Quarterly Newsletter

Dear CoreNet Global
Connecticut/Westchester Members,
I’m proud to share some updates from the past few months as our association continues to advance corporate real estate across Connecticut and Westchester County. We do this through strong programming, active members and partners, and opportunities for CRE professionals to connect, learn, and grow together… and play golf!
Our AI Skills for the CRE Professional event explored how new technology is changing our industry, while the Real Advantage Dinner Series continued to bring members together for conversation and relationship-building. Our Young Leaders initiatives remained active, and our DEI committee participated in career fairs across Connecticut, helping students learn about careers in corporate real estate. Our Annual Golf Tournament was a huge success, thanks to the hard work of our Golf Committee and the support of our members, sponsors, and volunteers. More to come on the golf tournament soon.

The Board and administrative team have also continued working to strengthen the chapter, including launching a refreshed website, improving financial reporting, and increasing sponsor recognition throughout the year. We also achieved 129% of our Eastern Regional Symposium registration goal, leading all other regional chapters.
There is much more ahead. This fall, we look forward to another strong lineup of programs, including the Real Advantage Dinner, Young Leaders Speed Networking Event, and our 10th Anniversary Women’s Networking Celebration.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you to our members, sponsors, committee volunteers, and industry partners for everything you continue to contribute to our chapter.
I look forward to seeing you this fall and continuing the progress we’ve made together.

Sincerely,
Miles McDonald

Amenta Emma is an architecture and interior design firm with studios in Hartford, Boston, and New York. Our workplace practice starts from a simple conviction: an office should do more than hold desks. It should help a company attract talent, bring people back together, and give employees real reasons to choose the office over anywhere else they could work.
That focus on outcomes is what the AIA Connecticut Business Architecture Award recognizes, an honor for design that advances an organization's goals. Bessemer Venture Partners in New York City earned this award in 2024, and this year the same honor went to our Connecticut Humane Society Pet Resource Center.
It’s the seventh time our work has been recognized in this program, across projects as varied as a venture capital office and a humane society but always guided by one idea: space should serve the people and the mission it is built for.
