Re:Build Manufacturing Q4 Digest

Re:Build was busy in 2021, as were most firms. It was our first full year since launching in late 2020 and in that time, we’ve acquired nine businesses and added four active theses led by dedicated Presidents. In Q4 alone, we acquired three businesses, two of which marked our foray into the biotechnology and medical products spaces. Given our acquisition pace in our first 13 months, we wanted to take a moment to recap Q4 and share some updates as we head into what looks to be another active year.

The World's First Commercially Available Off-Road Composite Wheel

Oribi Composites made the first commercially available off-road vehicle wheel developed and produced with carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic materials. Lighter, tougher, faster to process and with no compromise to strength, durability, or performance.

Oribi Composites helps companies adopt advanced thermoplastics into their products, with this being the latest example where they helped Packard Performance deliver the world's first high-performance off-road UTV wheels. This new wheel removes an average of 25 lbs. of unsprung weight from vehicles, delivering huge performance gains.
