We continue to celebrate the season of Easter during the 50 days from Easter Sunday to Pentecost.
After a beautiful and restful holiday, it was wonderful to see our students return to school this morning.
With Easter being late this year, we begin our countdown to the end of the school year. There are many traditions that engage our students and community throughout the month of May.
Prior to the Easter break, I began the 8th Grade Exit Interviews. I look forward to spending time in conversation with the Class of 2019 about how their education at Queen of Angels Catholic School has shaped and formed their lives, as well as get their input on how we might better our programs. These interviews are a special opportunity for me to meet one-on-one with each of our graduates before they leave our doors and head to high school.
How do we, as a QA community, effectively say Thank You!?
We would not have the enrichment, support or manpower we have if it were not for the multitude of parents who offer their time and talents throughout the school year. Please join us on April 26
for the Volunteer Appreciation Mass and Reception. We will recognize leadership, along with those who have volunteered, and provide coffee and refreshments.
From making teacher treats to being a Spiritual Angel, we want anyone who has supported our many programs to attend and be part of this celebration.
A reminder for families, next Monday, April 29
is the Care of Creation Family Service Night at 6:30pm. Please join our community as we beautify the campus of Queen of Angels.
Important upcoming dates for our QA community:
- May 3rd-The annual May Procession and Crowning. Please join us for this beautiful ceremony following the all school Mass at 8:30am.
- May 17th-QA celebrates the traditional Lux Reginae Angelorum Mass where the Light of the Queen of Angels will be passed form the 8th grade to 7th grade students. Additional information will be sent to 7th and 8th grade parents.
