Automated Processes

Throughout 2017, we worked to improve our manufacturing efficiency. We added automated tapping machines, polycarbonate molding for refractors, a goniophotometer and integrated sphere for photometric testing, and automated die-cast finishing.
Automating processes reduces manufacturing time and ensures they are performed uniformly and precisely every time. 2018 additions to our automated processes will include conformal coating for LED arrays, an additional LED SMT line, laser printing, fully automated powder paint lines, pour in place packaging system, automated counter and packaging system for hardware, and a new wash and Electrophoretic painting system that will be installed at our PEMCO facility.
