We recently received a list of questions from a group of concerned boaters after they received the August 2nd Marina newsletter. The newsletter created more uncertainty and unanswered questions, so a group of boaters compiled a very comprehensive list of questions. Click here to view the list.
Pursuant to Supervisor Bartlett’s request in a letter to the DPBA Board dated September 21, 2021, we forwarded the list of questions on October 17th to Joe Ueberroth, DPHP, and James Campbell, OC Real Estate Office. Supervisor Bartlett was copied on the emailed letter. Click here to read the letter.
Many Dana Point boaters have numerous concerns and strongly consider abandoning boating altogether. They feel hopeless and are riddled with frustration and anxiety.
We have not yet received a response from Mr. Ueberroth but requested one by October 31st. If we don’t have an adequate response by that date, we will request Supervisor Bartlett demand one. If we get no response from either one of them, we will address it with the complete Board of Supervisors.
It is time the boaters get their questions answered! Please keep submitting your questions and voice your opinions at BLP Submissions.
Now is the time for action.
Now is the time to communicate.
As always, we encourage you to send your comments to the Board of Supervisors at response@ocgov.com.
