We're having a quilt show! The Sassy Stitches Quilt Show will begin on June 1. There will be two categories, Quilts & Miscellaneous. The Miscellaneous category can be any kind of sewing project. It could be a table runner, wool piece, a bag, or other sewing item. Entries are being accepted now through Wednesday June 1st. It's free to enter your project! You may enter one item in each category. Customers will vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of the 2 categories. Winners will be announced on Friday, July 1st!

It's time for a JELLY ROLL RACE! Join Lindy to make this quick and easy quilt top. We're not really going to race but that was the original name of this project. All you need is a jelly roll! And we have plenty to pick from. If you'd like to add squares like in the picture, just bring 42 - 2 1/2" squares that you want to include. Come enjoy the new, spacious classroom plenty of room the spread out. You're going to love it! Plus Lindy would love to see you all so come sew with her and leave with a finished top! Unfortunately we have not had enough interest in the Block Party at this time. If you have an interest please let us know we only need a couple more to join in the fun When you join this club you will receive a project box to fill with your favorite fabrics and the new edition of Quilt Block Genius. We will meet once a month for 7 months. At each meeting we will exchange boxes. (Example of how it will work.) Each month you will take a different box home. And from the fabric you will create two blocks of your choice from the Quilt Block Genius book. At the last meeting in December you will be given your box with the 12 blocks that have been created by the other members of the club. We will reveal everyones new blocks. Cathedral Window Class You Won't Want To Miss This Class

We still have room for you. Join us to make a beautiful Cathedral Window quilt, table runner, or wall hanging. This traditional quilt will be taught using the technique Sallie learned as a young girl. She has changed a few things to make it easier and will show you a machine/handwork combination. Retreats are Back!! WE Still Have A Couple Seats Available July 27,28,29

Retreats are coming back to Sassy Stitches! Our next retreat will be July 28, 29, & 30. Above is a picture of the gorgeous quilt we plan to make. We will send a supply list closer to the retreat dates. The ruler and pattern for this quilt will be included in your $169 fee. Also included are breakfast and lunch each day and snacks, water and coffee during the day. You will also receive a shopping discount all three days! If you'd like to come get your fabrics from us (and we sure hope you will!!) and you are on the list to attend the retreat, we will offer you a discount then, too! We have lots of fabric coming in. Keep an eye out for new fabrics and other items. We will share them here on Facebook and also in our newsletter. Last but not least, Kit is ready to come back and do massages!! Yipee!
