This year we are blessed with beautiful reciters Sh. Hassan Wado, Fahd Hijazi and Abdullahi Jama and the beginning of last day of Ramadan a well known Qari Abdelkarim Edghouch will visit us from Texas for 3 nights. June 15 to 17th.
Bio Qari Sheikh Abdelkarim Edghouch
Qari Sheikh Abdelkarim Edghouch was born in Morocco. He memorized the entire Quran at the age of nine, after that he studied the Seven recitations with an authentic chain to the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He participated in many Quranic Contests, locally in Morocco, and internationally, in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Iran and others, and was ranked first place in most of them. He was ranked first place among 20,000 contestants at the Hassan II Award (former King of Morocco).
He is a graduate of Quranic Institute In Rabat, Morocco. He used to be the official reciter for the local Moroccan TV channels before he moved to the States where he resides now. He received many Ijazas with an authentic chain from him to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him).
He is now located in Dallas, Texas where he works as the Director of the Tanzeel Academy. Within 11 years of living in Dallas, Alhamdulillah, Sheikh Abdelkarim currently has around 100 students who completed the memorization of the Quran with proper recitation skills under him.
In Ramadan he travels around the USA to lead people in Taraweeh Prayer.
He was the main Quranic reciter at the following events:
1- Reviving the Islamic Spirit in 2007,
2- Islamic Society of North America since 2007.
3- Islamic Relief, and others.
In 2010, he was a judge at the International Quranic Competition that was held in Moscow, Russia.
