Qodeo is kicking off a transatlantic series of Summits at the House of Lords in London this November before heading to Edinburgh, Bermuda, and Durham, NC and other venues over 2025/26. Partnering with other organizations in support of Democratizing Venture™. These Summits are focused on access to capital and helping diverse entrepreneurs get started on their fundraising journey.

In London, we are excited to announce that our Summit will be hosted by Baroness Martha Lane Fox and feature panelists Vicky Pryce and Dame Anne Glover.

Baroness Martha Lane Fox is an iconic female entrepreneur, the cofounder of lastminute.com, and was the only European on the board at Twitter.

Vicky Pryce is the Chief Economic Advisor at the Centre for Economics and Business Research and former Joint Head of the United Kingdom's Government Economic Service. We recently spoke with Vicky Pryce, who is also a member of Qodeo's advisory board, about how female entrepreneurs often underask and undervalue their companies. Dame Anne Glover is probably Europe's top female VC, having cofounded Amadeus Capital Partners with Hermann Hauser, creating the Cambridge phenomenon. And, formerly head of the British Venture Capital Association. We also recently sat down with Anne Glover at the CMS offices to discuss how Dame Anne started Amadeus as a female entrepreneur, with only £5m raised to start. Check out that interview here.

Qodeo's UK events are hosted in collaboration with the law firm CMS, which shares our passion for enabling founders, including through their Equip program. CMS is partnering to support our House of Lords event and will hosta following event at their offices in Edinburgh.

Over recent months, we've been busy advancing conversations that challenge common misconceptions to help founders scale.

These workshops dive into the realities of venture capital and dispel the myths that can hold talented founders back. Focusing on 11 key myths that Qodeo has identified.

Our workshops have both online and in-person, including a recent workshop for entrepreneurs at Iceland's leading accelerator, KLAK.

Our workshop in Iceland marked the start of another cross-continental series. We will be staging 'Fundraising Mythbusting Workshops' across the US in Atlanta, New York, and Durham NC, as well as globally. With additional workshops planned in University of Cambridge, IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland, at SKEMA Business School in France, etc.

Our founder and CEO, Simon Glass, has been invited by the Chartered Association of Business Schools and the British Business Bank to be a featured speaker during Business Finance Week in London on October 1st. Check out the event here to learn about how to scale effectively and build resilience.

We've had some exciting additions to the Qodeo team. We're thrilled to welcome two new Advisory Board members: Professor Doug Cumming, who is now at Stevens Institute of Technology and working with us on research projects, and José Luis Muñoz, formerly of Meta and Amazon, who is embedded in Qodeo's AI initiatives. José is a Qodeo research alum, having worked with us when at IE Business School in Madrid.

Additionally, we are proud to continue our strong relationship with Georgetown University. This summer, three undergraduate students worked with us as Venture Fellows. Aidan Ng has been integrated with our tech team, Katherine Callow has been working on marketing and partnership development, and Susan Lin focused on research and growth.
