Quad State performance opportunity
The VMTA board has been planning our next quad state conference for October 21st at the Brattleboro Music Center. Our guest clinician and performer, Artina McCain will focus on underserved composers in her concert program. Vermont’s own Claire Black will present a lecture/performance of the music of Clara Schumann. The final hour (4 pm-5 pm) will be devoted to performances by MTNA members of the quad state group. We are looking for performances of underserved composers from you, our members. Each state will be given 15 minutes, so we are looking for shorter pieces if possible. If you wish to apply to perform, please send a video link of the piece that you wish to perform by September 1 to Laurelflutemaurer@gmail.com
All MTNA members and their advanced students are welcome to apply.
