Sign Up for Kindergarten Roundup

On February 15, at 6 p.m. parents/guardians of incoming kindergarten students should attend a parent meeting to learn more about our kindergarten program. This event at Osborne Elementary School will include information about school programs, transportation procedures, volunteer opportunities, QVSD communication, Kindergarten Roundup, and other frequently asked questions. We are asking that students do not attend this event.

On  February 21 or 22, we invite you and your child to attend Kindergarten Roundup. You can select a time slot using the button below. Kindergarten Roundup is an opportunity for your child to meet the kindergarten teachers. All Kindergarten Roundup appointments will take place at Edgeworth Elementary School.

As a reminder, if you have not completed your registration, please send the required documentation requested as soon as possible.

Kindergarten Asynchronous Learning

Due to necessary changes in procedures for the 2023 Kindergarten Roundup, we will be shifting all current Kindergarten students to at-home, asynchronous learning days for Tuesday, February 21st and Wednesday, February 22nd. This change is for current Kindergarten students at both Edgeworth and Osborne Elementary Schools. This change will allow us to conduct our Kindergarten Roundup over two days, instead of four, and to meet the staffing demands in our schools. Unfortunately, there is a significant shortage of the substitute teachers that were necessary to operate our previous model. We apologize if this is an inconvenience for some families.

This is a change to the current calendar and affects only current Kindergarten students.

Your child’s Kindergarten teacher will provide you with lessons and practice materials for your Kindergarten student to complete at home on these two days. More information about the asynchronous activities will be sent home closer to these dates.
