Safety Drills Information

A notification was sent home to all families this Friday, September 15 regarding safety drills being practiced throughout the District. In conjunction with school and borough safety officials, Quaker Valley maintains an Emergency Preparedness Plan for each of our schools. Part of this plan contains the school safety plans and fire drills that we conduct each school year, some of those drills must be completed within the first 90 days of the school year.

We encourage you to talk to your children about these drills and discuss any questions they may have about participating. Please stress to your children the importance of listening to and following the instructions they will receive from teachers, principals, or police/first responders.

If you have any questions about the drills we will practice in the coming months or any of our safety protocols, please contact your child’s building principal.
