Quaker Valley School District
At last week's school board meeting, the architects from BSHM and Bohlin Cywinski Jackson provided a presentation about the proposed exterior finished for the new Quaker Valley High School. We hope you enjoy seeing these project updates as much as we do!
One area highlighted is the Media Center and secured courtyard, which is pictured to the right. This area allows students from the Media Center, arts and engineering classes, and other courses to use the secure outdoor space for large and small group instruction.
QV Celebrates Music In Our Schools Month
|
For more than 30 years, March has been officially designated by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for the observance of Music In Our Schools Month® (MIOSM®), the time of year when music education becomes the focus of schools across the nation.
The purpose of MIOSM is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children – and to remind citizens that school is where all children should have access to music.
